RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with our general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at Stirlingevents.org apply to Summer Sessions Ticket Competition (“the Competition”) which will run on [12.06.2024 to midnight on 23.06.2024 ] (“the Duration”).
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available online.

Details of the Competition:

To enter the competition an entrant must fill out the competition form on stirlingevents.org, answer a short question before midnight on 23.06.2024
To do this you should go to https://stirlingevents.org/ and fill out the online form between 12.06 2024 – 23.06.2024.
An entry will be selected at random and notified via phone call. If the entrant fails to respond with 24 hours, we reserve the right to select another entrant at random as the winner.
The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

Eligibility:

Entry is restricted to people aged 18 or older.
Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.
Entrants must reside within the Stirling Council area, in one of the following postcode districts listed below.
Entry is not open to anyone employed in the Economic Development, Culture, Tourism and Events service at Stirling Council, and the senior management team at Stirling Council, including employees, freelancers, contractors and their immediate family members or households (whether related or not), and anyone else professionally involved with this Promotion, including employees of the prize provider DF Concerts and Events.
When entering a Promotion you must provide us with your real name. The winner might be announced on social media with their full name and nearest geographical location. If you do not want your real name to be disclosed to the wider public, please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected]. If you fail to provide us with your real name, you may be disqualified, at our discretion, and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
Winners of the Prize must adhere to the Rules of Entry for the Summer Sessions Concerts. These can be found on the Summer Sessions website. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the specification of the Prize of offer an alternative prize of equivalent status. No cash alternative will be offered, and the Prize is non-transferable.

Prize:

1 winner will win 1 x pair of tickets for the Young Fathers at City Park Stirling on 29th June 2024. [18+ ONLY.]
Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Prize will be provided before the date for the gig selected i.e. event tickets may be provided closer to the date of the event.
Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.  By way of example, without limitation, travel is not included within the prize.

Contact:

We will contact you via phone and email on 25.06.2024. If you do not respond within 24 hours, we reserve the right to select an alternative entrant. This will mean your entry is void and the prize is forfeited.
Once we have successfully made contact with you, we will aim to get the prize or prize instructions with you within (30) days.
You will need to provide proof of your ID, age and address as well as accepting when collecting the prize.

Publicity and identity of winners:

1 If you win a prize, you (and your guest(s)/ travel companion(s) if applicable) may be required to take part in reasonable publicity. You must (if we request) procure the written agreement of your guest(s)/ travel companion(s) to take part in such publicity.

20.2 In some cases, you might become aware of confidential information relating to a Promotion. Your own involvement in a Promotion might also be confidential for a period of time. If you do become aware of any confidential information relating to the Promotion, including (without limitation) any information that has not yet been made public and/or information we ask you to keep confidential indefinitely, you must keep this information confidential until we confirm in writing (for example, by email) that it is no longer necessary to do so. If you fail to do this, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect you have failed to do this, we reserve the right to disqualify you from the Promotion at our discretion, and/or to withhold the prize from you and award it to another entrant, and/or to take any other measures we consider necessary or appropriate based on the relevant circumstances.

We and the prize provider may publish and publicise your name, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and your guest(s) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, for publicity and PR purposes, solely in connection with the Promotion.

Use of your entry and/or submission:

21.1 By entering a Promotion or submitting a video, image, audio file or any other materials (a “Submission”) in relation to a Promotion (including as part of the entry process or as part of a prize) or if you tag or mention us directly or indirectly in any photo, video or other content (“Other Content”) in connection with the Promotion, you agree that we, our Promotion Partners and the prize provider can re-post, re-tweet, publicise and otherwise use that entry, Submission and/or Other Content in whole or in part (with or without any accompanying comments and information such as your handle and profile picture) for the purposes of the Promotion and that we, our Promotion Partners and the prize provider can do so via the same platform(s) that you posted or shared the entry, Submission and/or Other Content on, as well as via other social networks and platforms that we use, and on our websites. However, we’ll never sell or charge anyone for copies of your entry, Submission and/or Other Content (without your approval).

22.2 Unless otherwise expressly stated in the Specific Rules, you will remain the owner of the rights (e.g. copyright) in your entry, Submission and/or Other Content. By entering, you grant us an exclusive, worldwide licence (i.e. permission) to use the entry, Submission and/or Other Content that you provide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable. This means that only we will be able to use this and you will not be able to use the entry, Submission and/or Other Content with one of our competitors. You waive and agree not to assert your moral rights (e.g. the right to be named or credited) in relation to the same throughout the world, forever.

23.3 You guarantee to us that:

23.3.1 you own and control all of the rights in your entry, Submission and/or Other Content; your entry, Submission and/or Other Content is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights, moral rights, right to privacy, right to confidentiality etc., and you have the right to grant the rights set out in the Promotion Terms and Conditions;

23.3.2 you have obtained the prior written consent from anyone featured or mentioned in your entry, Submission and/or Other Content (and in the case of children under the age of 18 you have obtained the consent of the relevant child’s parent/guardian);

23.3.3 your entry, Submission and/or Other Content does not violate any applicable law or regulation or codes of good practice;

23.3.4 your entry, Submission and/or Other Content does not contain anything which is indecent, untrue, defamatory, unlawful, hateful, threatening, demeaning, inappropriate, obscene, malicious or which is in contempt of court;

23.3.5 your entry, Submission and/or Other Content will not cause any kind of harm or damage and does not (to the best of your knowledge or belief) contain any virus, malware, spyware or similar;

23.3.6 you will reimburse us for any loss, damage or liability arising out of a breach of your guarantees set out above.

23.4 You will sign such document as we reasonably request, at no cost to us, to confirm any or all of the above.

23.5 Unless otherwise stated, your entry, Submission and/or Other Content will not be returned to you.
