Photography is meaningless, long live photography!
12:30pm – 1:45pm
AI has recently become capable of (semi)autonomously producing images – a new ability that has been heralded as both a great gift and a terrible threat!
David will present a talk to encourage reflection, and touching on political, philosophical and theological concepts which may broaden our immediate reactions to the questionable pleasures of AI images.
David’s talk aims to stimulate a discussion about “post-photographic” images with the audience encouraged to debate, challenge and shape the conversation on the impact of AI on art and our response as photographers.
