Trailblazing a singular path as a cello soloist, Juliette Lemoine is exploring and redefining the cello’s role within Scottish Traditional Music. She is set to burst onto the scene with her debut album of original compositions ‘Soaring’ with a headline performance at Celtic Connections 2023. Juliette is fascinated by the cello’s potential out-with classical music, particularly in relation to traditional music, rhythmic playing and improvising.
