Tolbooth Café Concert – Scott Ashworth

Drawing inspiration from songwriting greats such as Townes Van Zandt, John Prine and Kris Kristofferson, Scott Ashworth is a singer/songwriter firmly rooted in the Americana genre. Salford born but based in Denny for the last 20 years and with a previous career as a military musician that saw him travel the world extensively, Scott writes songs that explore the grittier elements of everyday life.

Currently wrapping up production on his debut album, Scott has had several #1 singles on the iTunes UK Country chart, and has had his songs played widely on Americana and Country radio shows across the UK, Europe and the USA.
