Following a hugely successful Homeward Bound headline tour—where they played to over 14,000 fans, with 10 dates selling outTide Lines now announce a series of exclusive Scottish outstore shows in celebration of their forthcoming album, Glasgow Love Story.

Fans who pre-order a physical format of the album will gain access to these special performances ahead of the album’s official release on April 25th, 2025.

Glasgow Love Story marks the band’s fourth studio album and follows the success of An Ocean Full of Islands, which reached #13 on the UK Official Chart, #1 in Scotland, and #2 on the Independent Albums Chart. The record is a deeply personal tribute to the city that has shaped their journey, capturing its people, places, and spirit through evocative storytelling and anthemic indie-folk melodies.

Vocalist / guitarist Robert Robertson says: “We can’t wait to play the album tracks for the first time in this series of intimate shows throughout Scotland! Getting back into smaller venues with our fans feels like a really nice chance to thank them for following the band and supporting physical formats of this record.”

The album features Tide Lines’ two recent singles: the joyous indie-folk escapism and vivid depiction of the city’s late summer haze on ‘Cherry Blossom Sunset’; and the serene beauty of ‘Homeward Bound’, which reflects on the pure innocence of childhood.

Tide Lines – completed by Ross Wilson (keyboards), Fergus Munro (drums) and Alasdair Turner (guitar / bagpipes) – recorded the album in their studio on the Isle of Mull, a converted church where Ross used to attend Sunday school. Its songs were written by Robert, and produced by Ross with the band.

‘Glasgow Love Story’ is available to pre-order HERE. It will be released on CD, vinyl, cassette and digital formats.
