Travel back into the past with author Esther Rutter as she hosts a discussion about her book, This Golden Fleece. You’ll get to learn about the history of wool in Britain and the relationship that we have developed with it. Esther will be bringing along some items to show and we invite you to bring a knitted or crocheted item you’ve created or loved to share with others.

Esther Rutter is an author based in Fife, Scotland. She has worked in arts education and outreach for numerous high-profile organisations and is currently an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews. Her first book, This Golden Fleece won a Society of Authors’ Roger Deakin Award, and her second book is due for publication in 2022/23.
