Mapestry Exhibition

Tolbooth Foyer – Drop In 3 – 25 Feb

Froglife’s Come Forth for Wildlife project ‘Mapestry’ visits the Tolbooth this February giving visitors a chance to see 12 unique tapestry panels made with contributions from over 800 local people during workshops held in Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire in 2020/21.

The aim of the project was to foster connections with the natural heritage of the area and local communities through activity, whilst creating inter-connected habitats for amphibians, reptiles and other wildlife.

This community driven piece of artwork explores the visions and ideas people have of the heritage around them and what’s important to them – through their own artistic creations.

  • Froglife’s Mapestry Tour will be open Friday 3-25 February, Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm.
  • Events are free and drop-in, no booking is required.
