Come along to Creative Stirling’s latest exhibition The Stirling Pioneers: Filmmakers Who Changed the World as part of Stirling Science Festival.

The exhibition is a multimedia celebration of Norman McLaren and John Grierson, two local filmmakers who were significant pioneers who pushed boundaries of technology within the global film community.

Dive into their life histories, view some of their works and learn about how these two opposite characters became global icons and shaped the worlds film industry.

This project is kindly supported by Go Forth Stirling – Creative Stirling would also like to thank Karl Magee (Archivist at the University of Stirling) for his help with the exhibition.
