Michelle Willis

+ Support by Nathan Somevi

Close your eyes when Michelle Willis sings and you might feel like you are at the Brill Building in the early ’60s when Carole King ran the show with her prolific pop melodies. Yet this singer-songwriter also has a modern flair that plays along with the spirited jams of Lake Street Dive and the hearty roots of Tedeschi Trucks Band. —Glide Magazine

British-born, Canadian-raised Michelle Willis is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who amassed an impressive resume touring and recording with myriad musicians (David Crosby, Michael McDonald, Becca Stevens, Snarky Puppy, Iggy Pop, and others).

“One of my favourite singers in my whole life… just amazing… fluid, powerful, graceful… such a fine writer… a SOULFUL, rich, deep player and bandleader who just swings as if her life depended on it.”

– David Crosby
