Stirling’s Halloween Tales and Traditions by the Happy Hangman
The Happy Hangman’s tales are based on tales handed down and embellished through the generations and told in his own inimitable, irreverent style. They are an interpretation of folklore around Halloween subjects, such as ghosts and phantoms.
They’re not suitable for all ages, and do contain references to ghosts, witches and death. The tales are all set in the Stirling area, and are often based on the lore that developed around local characters – some of whom were colourful in their habits.
Warning – Some of these videos contain reference to adult themes, including suicide / death/ violence / sexual relations/ drowning, which some viewers may find upsetting.
