A Made Up Scale

Info

Use pitched objects from your home like pans and bottles to create music tuned to your unique scale.

Our standard music is made up of just 12 notes but can all music be expressed with just 12 or are we missing out on something more expressive! Every frequency has a pitch so there are literally thousands of notes available.

We hear so many more pitches from birdsong and talking to music from other parts of the world where more notes are used.

Let’s make up our own scale and see how it sounds.
