Interesting Things, the all-day celebration of boundary-breaking music acts returns to Stirling’s iconic Tolbooth venue this August for its third year. With a genre-defying lineup including some of the most exciting live acts from around the UK and beyond, Interesting Things continues to cement its place as a thrillingly bold voice in the UK festival circuit.
With further announcements to be made, including details of visual art exhibitions, fringe events, and food and drink offerings by Tolbooth’s own Supper Club, Interesting Things is set for a welcome return to Stirling’s creative scene.

Following 2024’s brilliant debut festival, the all-day celebration of boundary-breaking music acts returned to Stirling’s iconic Tolbooth venue October 2025. With a genre-defying lineup including some of the most exciting live acts from around the UK and beyond, Interesting Things promises to add to Tolbooth’s burgeoning contemporary music scene.
Headlining the second edition was acclaimed electronic producer, visual artist and performer Mun Sing, rising dub-pop trio jabu, and experimental Scottish artist Proc Fiskal, of legendary label Hyperdub.
Launched in 2024, Interesting Things is a bold, genre-spanning festival bringing together acclaimed international artists, cutting-edge producers and standout Scottish talent. Its debut programme delivered a full day of discovery and creativity, from hypnotic live performances and boundary-pushing electronic music to experimental pop and immersive ambient soundscapes – all within the unique setting of Tolbooth,. Highlights included ML Buch, Ex Easter Island Head and more.
