Winterlight lit up the days between Christmas and New Year with three sold-out nights of live music from some Scotland’s biggest acts, a fantastic Afternoon Show packed with local talent, and a Ceilidh that had us dancing and spinning into the night.This year, Winterlight is back!
Join us at The Albert Halls, Stirling, from 27th–31st December 2026 to bid farewell to Christmas and shake off the holiday haze. Dance with friends, discover incredible live music from some of Scotland’s biggest acts, and make the most of every moment as ‘Winter Nights Come Alive’.
Mànran return to the line up, joined by Talisk, Siobhan Miller Band, RURA, and more still to be announced. We’re also delighted to welcome back our All Ages Daytime Music Event celebrating local artists, plus the much loved Big Ceilidh with The Katie Allen Trio, with NEW! For over 15 years, Mànran has been at the heart of the Scottish traditional music scene, earning a reputation as a multi-award-winning powerhouse. Known for their bold fusion of traditional and contemporary influences, the seven-piece band continues to captivate audiences worldwide with their distinctive sound and high-energy performances.
Seamlessly combining English and Gaelic songs, with a dynamic mix of bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, whistle, and flute—alongside guitars, drums, and bass—Mànran creates music that is deeply rooted in tradition yet constantly evolving. Their original compositions, crafted with skill and expertise, showcase the band’s ability to push musical boundaries while staying true to their heritage.
With performances in over 30 countries, Mànran has built a loyal global following, further solidified by their win as ‘International Artist of the Year’ at the Australian Celtic Music Awards. Talisk + Second Headliner to be Announced

One of the most talked-about folk bands of the 21st century, Talisk have been tearing apart stereotypes and redefining the genre for almost a decade. With over 15 million streams and 10,000 albums sold worldwide, and sell out shows across five continents – from Paris to New York, London to Tokyo, Glasgow to Vancouver – alongside headline appearances at festivals across the world, the Scottish trio have amassed a global, die-hard following.
Wielding instruments that have rarely seen the likes of their music, Mohsen Amini (concertina), Benedict Morris (violin) and Charlie Galloway (guitar) have stacked up major awards for their explosively energetic sound – including five between BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Scotland, and two highly coveted BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
At New Year 2022 they played BBC One’s Hogmanay show to a television audience in excess of one million, and quickly amassed a vast, mainstream audience that continues to propel the group to some of their largest live shows to date. Headlining Glasgow’s iconic Barrowland Ballroom in 2024 – during Europe’s largest winter festival, the legendary Celtic Connections – Talisk’s star remains firmly on a rapid ascent, and then some.

Scotland’s folk song sensation, multi award-winner Siobhan Miller will be joined by her acclaimed band for a set spanning her impressive discography of five critically acclaimed albums.
Celebrated for huge live energy and joyful arrangements and performances, the Siobhan Miller Band has become renowned for feel-good folk. They have performed as headliners at Glasgow’s iconic Barrowland Ballroom, as well as festival main stages such Denmark’s legendary Tønder Festival, the Cambridge Folk Festival, and the Hebridean Celtic Festival on the Isle of Lewis, amongst countless others.
Siobhan’s remarkable career boasts five BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards and a prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for the best traditional track. All five of her albums have been shortlisted for BBC Alba’s STMA album of the year and winning Musician of the Year at the BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards in 2025.

RURA are a multi award-winning act and one of Scotland’s most sought-after folk bands. With five heralded albums, RURA affirm their position as one of Scotland’s leading instrumental groups.
