As part of Stirling Science Festival
Do you enjoy being creative? Does the natural world inspire you to write your own stories or draw from your imagination?
Come and join our writing workshop with author Emily Ilett. Emily will be telling us all about how nature inspires her writing and how her research led her to write about endangered creatures in Scotland in her book The Girl Who Lost Her Shadow. This workshop will involve some fun writing exercises and we will be encouraging you all to get writing or drawing during the session so bring along some paper and a pen.
Emily Ilett is an award-winning children’s writer based in Glasgow. Her debut children’s book The Girl Who Lost Her Shadow was published in 2019 and won the Kelpies Prize 2017. She has lots of experience of working with young writers and her sessions are interactive, informative and fun!
