The show delves into the science and engineering that underpin our amazing castles. This fun, interactive science show will bring castles to life, from their construction to destruction and how we preserve the castles that remain.

Bitsy Games Design Workshop, at Codebase (8-11yrs)

Learn how to make your own tiny pixel art game, using the free & simple game-making tool Bitsy!

In this workshop games composer & hobbyist game maker Luci Holland will teach the basics of using Bitsy, and guide you to make your own short game & artwork.

There will be two workshops

10:30-12:30pm – for girls and non-binary children, 8-11 years old

1:30pm-3:30pm – for all children 8-11 years old

Collage Animation Workshop, 2pm-3:30pm, at Tolbooth (10-16yrs)

Learn the art of stop-motion animation, from the early days of zoetropes to today’s digital techniques, all while exploring 900 years of Stirling’s history through collage.
