What does it take to be an elite footballer?
This is sure be a popular event and a must for any budding footballers – find out more about the science behind what it takes to be a pro-footballer.
Join experts from the University of Stirling Sports Science Department for a series of shorts talks and a Q and A at Wallace High – School of Sport on the topics of:
  • Analysis and talent identification
  • Genetics
  • Strength and conditioning
  • Nutrition and hydration
The talks will be followed by a 45 minute Q&A/discussion.
Event recommended for ages 14 plus, or over 12’s accompanied by an adult.

PRE-TALK EVENT – LIFE FIT WELLNESS

Join physiotherapists from Life Fit Wellness at Wallace High for this drop in event between 6-7pm to discover how experts are utilising modern technology to measure human performance utilising the Kinvent system to measure muscle strength and balance – key elements required for footballers.

The Kinvent system allows physiotherapists to assess patients’ progress in less than 20 seconds in strength, balance and range of motion.

Please note – this activity is a pre-event for the University of Stirling talk ‘What Does it Take to Become an Elite Footballer’ which starts at 7pm in the school assembly hall.
