Why and how this happened has been debated for over 200 years. Stirling is home to three such forts and greatest is Dumyat whose inhabitants fought the Roman Empire…did Rome’s Legions destroy it?
Join Stirling Council’s Archaeologist Dr Murray Cook on a 2-3 hour guided walk to this incredible location and explore Scotland’s greatest ancient mystery and the results of the recent excavation. Free but places must be booked cookm@stirling.gov.uk
Medium walk over some rough ground, wear boots and appropriate clothes.
