Visit Dunblane Library to learn about extraordinary sea creatures, incredible marine camouflage and fascinating underwater facts at this interactive session with children’s writer Emily Ilett. She’ll be reading from her debut “The Girl Who Lost her Shadow”, a magical tale of sisterhood, bravery and marine conservation. Be inspired by the strangeness and beauty of our marine world at this interactive event. This event is free and suitable for over 8s. Author Emily Ilett is an award-winning children’s writer currently based in Fife. Her first book “The Girl Who Lost Her Shadow” won the Kelpies Prize in 2017. She loves writing strange, magical stories inspired by the strange, magical world around us.
