11th October, at Creative Stirling,
11:30am & 2pm
This creative session will support families and young people to explore ways they can take the initiative and explore innovative ways they can make a difference to the ocean from home.
Creative Stirling will screen a variety of films/images with information around The Marine Conservation Society’s work and the ocean, participants will then work in groups to brainstorm the themes of ‘How can we all play our part in protecting our blue planet?’ and ‘How can you use your voice as a young person to help?’.
Workshop participants will then create placards displaying their ideas with an aim to educate young people about the Marine Conservation Society’s work and encourage them to take positive action for our oceans.
Conversations about employment and careers in this area will also be explored and encouraged- hoping to inspire young people to become future innovators in this industry.
Workshop age: 13-25
Under 16’s must attend with an adult
Bookable via Creative Stirling – some drop in may be available on the day on a first come first serve basis.
