part of Scottish Mental Health Festival
Tolbooth presents a day of free, fun and informal activities designed to enhance mental wellbeing as part of Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. Our singing, art and dance sessions aim to equip participants with practical tools for improving their mental health as well as a fun and uplifting experience.
Mindful Art with Andy Auld is a creative session designed to introduce participants to the calming effects of engaging with their artistic side. Andy Auld is an artist, workshop facilitator and development worker with Down’s Syndrome Scotland. Andy specialises in running inclusive and experimental workshops that include visual arts, sound and movement.
The sessions will be at Meeting Room 1. Please note the start time for the sessions is 11am and 1pm.
Workshops are restricted to 14 years old+.
The day will also include self service activities, a collaborative ‘gratitude’ tree and a performance from Tolbooth Voices choir.
