As Part of Stirling Science Festival, at Stirling Highland Hotel 7:30PM – 9:30 PM
Come and look through the impressive 133 year old Newtonian reflective telescope within the copper domed observatory of the category A listed Stirling Highland Hotel. See views of Saturn’s rings and Titon it’s largest moon; Jupiter and the 4 Galilean Moons… and after 9pm Mars!
Group tours of 10 people will last approx 30 minutes and a presentation will be provided within the hotel by the Stirling Astronomical Society for those waiting in the queue to visit the telescope.
We kindly ask that those attending without children visit after 8pm. Please note there is no disabled access to the observatory which is accessed via a spiral staircase.
