at Tolbooth, 11th October, 10am to 4pm
Join lecturers from the University of Stirling at the Tolbooth as they showcase how digital technology can be used to socially connect people in a physically active way.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try out different digital technologies such as a seated treadmill with virtual reality, a digital balance board game featuring movement and music and the Retrorehab chair-based movement game.
These activities are for all ages although many aspects will be of keen interest for over 60s.
The project is being conducted in collaboration with Physical Activity Research Group (SPARKLE) and UKRI-funded Generating Older Active Lives Digitally (GOALD) project.
This event is drop in and will be held alongside other activities in the Tolbooth on 11 Oct including Glasgow Science Centre ‘Powering the Future’ interactive exhibition, STEM games and Lego.
