part of Scottish Mental Health Festival
Tolbooth presents a day of free, fun and informal activities designed to enhance mental wellbeing as part of Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. Our singing, art and dance sessions aim to equip participants with practical tools for improving their mental health as well as a fun and uplifting experience.
Breathe, Move, Dance with Grace Turner is an introductory dance workshop focussing on mindful movement, connecting with our bodies and embracing the ways we move. Grace Turner is a dance artist and has been creating and teaching dance internationally since 2012. She is co-director of TurnAround Dance Theatre, works with MacRobert Arts Centre and teaches and performs aerial dance for All or Nothing Aerial Dance.
The sessions will be at the Attic. Please note the start time for the sessions is 1:30pm and 2:30pm.
Workshops are restricted to 14 years old+.
The day will also include self service activities, a collaborative ‘gratitude’ tree and a performance from Tolbooth Voices choir.
