Tolbooth Talks

Tolbooth Stirling are proud to present our new series – TOLBOOTH TALKS.  We’ll release a new talk every two weeks as outlined in our events listing below, bringing you a diverse array of stories from Stirling’s past and present.  The talks will be led by Musician Saul Davies, Actor Mirren Mack, local entrepreneur Laura Burt, Stirling’s Archaeologist and Author Dr Murray Cook and Film location scout Barry Laird.

Our hope is that the TOLBOOTH TALKS series will not only entertain, they will  offer some substantial food for thought, and create a sense of pride in our place, as well as increased aspirations among our young people.

This inaugural series of TOLBOOTH TALKS has been created during the social distancing period and so all talkers have self-filmed their talk.

We would like to thank all of our Talkers for giving up their time and for sharing their unique stories with us, each Talker has chosen a charity they would to support, and you will find a donation link below each of the films should you be in a position to donate.
