The True Crime Walking Tour
Friday 18th September 2026 - Sunday 20th September 2026
Overview
We’re thrilled to bring back our hugely popular true crime walking tours for 2025. Colin Sinclair will lead you through Stirling’s ancient streets and imposing facades, uncovering the darker stories concealed behind them. He recounts chilling tales of passion, greed, honour, and murder. Though these sinister acts belong to the past, traces of them still remain, and Colin knows exactly where to find them.
The tour delves into some of the city’s most infamous crimes and the fascinating figures connected to them, from the grotesque to the eccentric. Beginning outside the Golden Lion, the walk lasts around an hour and weaves through graveyards and narrow vennels, exploring a series of crimes and criminals from nineteenth and twentieth century Stirling. The evening concludes with one final grisly story told over a dram, included in the ticket price, in one of the city’s historic pubs.
