Shiny Shoe Workshop

Get ready to give your old shoes a whole new lease of life. We’re bringing a wee bit of shimmer and shine to Culture Night Stirling with this shoe upcycling workshop inspired by Marcie K Design’s viral Shiny Shoe Workshop. Led by Jennifer McGlone, owner of Braw Wee, this session is all about creativity, confidence, and turning the everyday into something dazzling.

You don’t need any previous experience at all. This workshop is relaxed, friendly, and full of laughs, with clear guidance throughout. If you can turn up with a pair of tired leather shoes or boots, you’re already qualified!

As we are in Lux Country Bar & Grill, cowboy boots are most welcome! This is your chance to level up your boots before you hit the dancefloor.

What to expect:
• Learn how to prep leather shoes or boots for decorating.
• Explore techniques to add shimmer, shine, and personality.
• Hands-on guidance from Jennifer every step of the way.
• A playful, social atmosphere where creativity comes first.
• Transform your own shoes into wearable works of art!

You’ll leave with freshly transformed, gloriously shiny shoes and the satisfaction of having given something old a bold new life. It’s creative, fun and a brilliant reminder that a little sparkle can go a long way!

What you’ll get
We’ll provide all the foils, tools, and materials – you just bring the shoes (or ankle boots) and your creative flair!

Knowledge required
Whether you’re a total craft newbie or a seasoned maker, you’ll leave with shiny shoes, insider tips, and a big grin.
What to bring
• Your shoes should be leather or faux leather (non-porous materials work best).
• Unfortunately, canvas and suede won’t work for this technique.
• Patent shoes are absolutely fine!
