SCENE STIRLING

In early 2021, Scene Stirling awarded digital commissions to five local artists including creative writer Izzy Brims, choreographer and dancer Malcolm Sutherland, illustrator David Galletly, sculptor Ken Elliott and multi-disciplinary artist Jules McAllister.

The aim of the project was to address the impact of digital exclusion on the creative and cultural community in Stirling caused by the current COVID-19 pandemic.  As part of the programme, each creative was matched with a leading industry mentor to ensure the success of their project and received a £1,500 bursary, including professional training to build their digital skills and knowledge.
