Observatory Tour & Viewing

Take a tour of Old Observatory on roof of Highland Hotel (formerly Stirling High School) and use their 136-year-old telescope.

Pre-book your slot from 7pm to 9.30pm to see the stars. If the sky is clear, you may even see the planet Saturn.

Suits ages from 5 years upwards. Booking required.

Access is by a 90 step spiral staircase to the roof. Those unable to climb may watch a digital astronomy presentation on the ground floor.
