Overview

The Albert Halls Stirling presents Winterlight – a dazzling new winter festival that will light up your December evenings with spectacular live music, featuring some of the biggest acts in Scottish music.

From 27th to 31st December we will welcome some of the finest folk acts for a massive party. Manran will be headlining the second night of the festival with support from Kinnaris Q!

As well as the biggest acts, we’ll also be presenting the stars of the future on each of the three big concert nights. The Lesser Hall stage has been taken over each night by Tolbooth’s New Noise programme, which support new talent year-round. New Noise at Winterlight will present an up-and-coming act from Stirling each night, to help us get the party started and to celebrate new talent. Tonight we will welcome New Noise Showcase – Corin.

The first 100 ticket holders to arrive each night will get to enjoy these bonus performances in The Lesser Hall, before we open the main hall. So if you’ve got a ticket to join us, then make sure you get down early and don’t miss out!

New Noise Showcase – Corin

She draws inspiration from the details and emotions of life to craft relatable songs.   Corin started her musical journey through Tolbooths Youth Music Programme and then returned last year to perform as a guest on the main stage at the ‘Sing The Greys’ event, sharing a stage with the likes of Joe Rattray (Admiral Fallow), James Yorkston, Siobhan Wilson and Withered Hand.

Corin’s music in influenced by classic soul, pop, indie pop, and folk, with artists such as Tamzene and Rosie H Sullivan.  Corin has gigged all over Scotland, and is building a fanbase,  becoming known for the warmth and openness of her live performances.
