Join us at Central Library for a fascinating talk on some of Stirling’s most important medical pioneers.
Discover William Jaffrey of Cambusbarron, an early advocate of vaccination; Alice Munro, the pathologist whose work in Glasgow advanced modern blood transfusion; Sir David Bruce, the microbiologist who helped conquer tropical diseases; and Dr William Hutton Forrest, who established Stirling’s first clean water supply and supported the fight against cholera in the early 19th century.
