You know the score. Desert Island. Stranded. Surrounded by sharks. And by some miracle you have access to a music streaming platform or a gramophone, a book and a luxury item. Well, we’ve ditched the songs and the trappings of luxury and are asking three fabulous authors to debate their favourite books.

Our trapped threesome are: MW Craven, author of The Killer’s Mark; Louise Welsh creator of The Cut Up; and Kristen Perrin, the writer of How to Cheat Your Own Death.
