Create the Digital Support You'd Actually Use (Age 18-30)
Wednesday 15th October 2025
Part of the Stirling Science Festival 2025.
Overview
Digital interventions (such as the use of apps) have become the go-to solution for many people with physical and mental long-term conditions. But intervention design can be improved and better targeted to what people actually would like to see and how they want to engage with it. Moreover, behaviour change theories and approaches are often not considered in designing digital interventions.
With the help of the public, the University of Stirling are exploring the kind of digital support people want to see and how they want to see it. People interested in designing their ideal app or digital resource that supports people with different long-term conditions are invited to our activity.
As well as a short discussion, explore different stations to design apps that target a range of health behaviours and get an insight into what goes into evidence-based app design.
