Thursday 16th October 2025
Part of Stirling Science Festival 2025!
Overview
Ever wondered how closing times for bars and nightclubs affect our cities and our health?
Join researchers from the University of Stirling for a relaxed and interactive session exploring the science behind closing times for bars, pubs, and nightclubs. Hear what our research has revealed about the effects of closing times on ambulance staff, police, club-goers, businesses and residents.
Then take part in interactive activities, including Q&A and zine-making, to share your stories, observations, questions and ideas about how last orders affect our cities and our health.
Your views will help shape our understanding of nightlife and public health.
