Ainsley Hamill is one of Scotland’s most compelling singers, known for her powerful voice and inventive take on folk tradition. Singing in English, Scots and Gaelic, she weaves together Scottish folklore with contemporary songwriting, creating music that is both timeless and fresh. Described by The Guardian as “a stunning, powerful voice…thick with velvet and mirk…hovering between The Breath and early Adele”, Ainsley has been nominated as Gaelic Singer of the Year at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards and named as The Guardian’s Album of the Month. She will be joined by her stellar trio line up featuring BBC Folk Award winners Sam Kelly (vocals, guitar) and Toby Shaer (flute, guitar). Together they create a rich, dynamic live sound that has captivated audiences at Celtic Connections, Glastonbury, Tønder Festival and beyond.
