We are delighted to add two brilliant acts to the already packed Interesting Things lineup.

R.aggs, aka Ray Aggs, is a prolific specialist in euphoric post-punk, and have achieved international acclaim with collaborative touring projects Trash Kit, Shopping and Sacred Paws. Creating zines and co-ordinating workshops that encourage women, non-binary people, and people of colour to form bands, Aggs has galvanised the DIY scene in the UK and they are only just getting started. R.aggs solo work is an infectious blending of tropical wonky synths and a righteous force of melody.

Originally from Florida, Simone Seales is a Glasgow-based cellist and performance artist. They focus on free improvisation, live looping, poetry, and devising music for theatre. Through their collaborative and creative process, they prioritize play, silliness, and connection. Simone is passionate about exploring sound, how sound can reflect emotional states of being and how emotions are embodied. They’ve worked with and commission works for the likes Scottish National Galleries, Edinburgh Art Festival, Edinburgh Blues and Jazz Festival, RSNO, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and many more.

R.aggs and Simone join a lineup already bursting with some of the most vital and exciting voices in new music, unbound by genre and connected by a fierce approach to breaking boundaries.
