To celebrate Hogmanay 2019 and bring in the New Year in style, Stirling will host two spectacular events on the iconic Stirling Castle Esplanade. There can be no better place to bring in the New Year with friends and family.
10:45 pm – Midnight Scottish broadcaster Jennie Cook will host live music performances from Stephanie Cheape and Trecherous Orchestra under the iconic backdrop of Stirling Castle.
There will be hot food vendors on site and adults (over 18) can bring their own alcohol (please note: no glass will be allowed and a Challenge 25 policy will be in place – stewards or police may ask for ID from anyone bringing alcohol who appears younger than 25).
Midnight – Spectacular fireworks display from the grounds of Stirling Castle. (Please note these fireworks will be louder and more impactful than the earlier event and may not be suitable for younger children).
Tickets £12:50 each (all attendees must have a valid ticket). £1 online booking fee per ticket. The main event access will be via the Stirling Castle access road).
Plan early and book your tickets in advance. Those without a ticket will not be able to enter the Esplanade area.
There will also be many other events and activities taking place throughout Stirling on December 31st, including relaxed family ceilidhs at The Tolbooth and the traditional and very popular Albert Halls Hogmanay Ceilidh, with dinner, dancing, entertainment in to the wee small hours. Full details are available here.
Come along and enjoy the festive fun!
For family groups, why not make a day of it and bring your family to the afternoon ceilidh then finish the evening off at our family fireworks display.
